Limited Version of Mao’s Partition Rank Inequality →
Discrete mathematics, especially number theory and combinatorics, was the area that interested me the most. I spent the final year at university reading and researching about partitions in Number theory, with the work culminating in proving an (obscure) inequality. It is sufficient to say that it resulted in my Erdös number going from ∞ to 4.
I haven’t flexed my generating functions muscles in a while to outline the result here so would simply redirect to the paper.
